What You Should Know About Juicing

If you are like me, you probably think the thought of juicing is kind of scary. What do you put in your body that might not sound as appetizing? Or what do you put in your body that may be loaded with toxins that you would rather not put into your body?

If you think your best bet to understand juicing is at a health food store, think again. Juicing has evolved into an art, and these days, the benefits of juicing are incredible.

There are all sorts of juices available in a store’s inventory. However, some of them could be harmful to you.

This is because many store-bought juices can be stored in their bottle condition for many years. Most of them will also be preserved in formaldehyde, which is one of the most potent cancer-causing agents known to man. All those chemicals add up over time and some awful things happen when you drink it.

Now then, I am going to take this opportunity to say “Not So Fast” to you, because there is a solution. Not only can you get pure juice from juicing, but you can get it freshly squeezed in a glass and inhale the freshness. In other words, it is perfect if you have allergies to tomatoes or other fruits.

As for me, I am the type of person who would much rather live good health than enjoy an extra five dollars, no matter how much I would actually have spent on those tomatoes. That is the exact attitude I have towards juicing. Once I started juicing, it changed my entire attitude towards eating and drinking.

There are a few different recipes available, including the many you can find on the internet. Here are some juicing recipes that are available.

Coconut Water – You can make a refreshing drink from the juice of this delicious fruit. Just use a coconut water blender to mix up the pure essence of the fruit and then add herbs. See what kind of flavors you can come up with. You can try making limeade from it, or lemonade, or perhaps you have had the experience of trying to make lemonade with other kinds of fruits and you just do not like the flavor.

Orange Juice – You can use an orange juicer to make this wonderful drink. Simply press the orange into a cup of juice and you will have yourself a citrus beverage. It is ideal to drink after a meal or you can put it in smoothies or use it to make a smoothie in the blender.

Lemon Juice – You can mix up a nice-tasting lemon juice with fruit to make a tasty drink. You can drink it right from the glass or add some lemon slices for that added zest.

Strawberry Juicer – If you have ever tried to squeeze strawberries, you will agree that they are not particularly pleasant to the tongue. In order to enjoy a strawberry without the nasty taste, simply put the juice in a glass and use your juicer to create a lovely drink.
